The BJP released a list of 27 names as its candidates for election to seats in the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC) and Niuland Town Council (NTC). The candidates were handed the tickets on June 10.
PHED Minister, N Jacob Zhimomi handed away the tickets for the CTC and NTC at a programme organised at its 3rd Mile office.
CTC candidates: H Kasheli Achumi (Ward 1 - Reserved), Roko Shuya (Ward 2), Teisovilie Kire (Ward 3), Hovise Naleo (Ward 5), Thepfulhoutuo Shuya (Ward 6), Sanuo Ngullie (Ward 7 - Reserved), L Vikheto (Ward 8), V Bohoto Achumi (Ward 9), Imtinaro Yhoshu (Ward 10 - Reserved).
NTC candidates: Visheli Zhimomi (Ward 1 - Reserved), V Samuel Holo (Ward 2), Ikhadu Zhimomi (Ward 3), G Tozheli Sema (Ward 4 - Reserved), Kahoi Holo (Ward 5), Vitozhe Sema (Ward 6), Vikheli Chishi (Ward 7 - Reserved), Shihoto Zhimo (Ward 8), Kakheka Zhimomi (Ward 9).
MLA and Advisor for Tribal Affairs, H Tovihoto Ayemi for the DMC. The candidates are as follows: Meweh Lasuh (Ward 1 - Reserved), Hokuto Zhimo (Ward 2), Pikuto K Kiho (Ward 3), Hemlu GOnmei (Ward 4 - Reserved), Kuhoi Zhimo (Ward 5), V Khekato Awomi (Ward 6), Aghatoli Y Tuccu (Ward 7 - Reserved), George Ayemi (Ward 8), Kivikali H Chishi (Ward 22 - Reserved).
